Alaska Expedition Lodge is located roughly 250 miles east of Anchorage, Alaska and approximately 100 miles east of Cordova on the famed “TSIU” River (pronounced “Sigh-You”). The “TSIU” Lost Coast area is home to a healthy population of Brown Bear, Yukon Moose, Mountain Goat and Black Bear. Our remote wilderness lodge lays just outside the Yakataga State Game Refuge east of Cape Suckling, west of Cape Yakataga, and south of the rugged Robinson Mountains and Bering Glacier Ice Fields. Our operation holds a special use permit allowing us access to the 82,000-acre Game Refuge.
